Grinding Media
We offer both Lead-Antimony and Alumina-Ceramic Ball Milling Media. With multiple sizes and shapes available, you're sure to find what you need for your next project.
Alumina-Ceramic Media available in 3 sizes:
1/2" Satellites - 100 (1 lb)
1/2" Cylinders - 100 (1.4 lbs)
13/16" Cylinders - 24 (1.5 lbs) [for larger Ball Mills]
1/2" Hardened Lead-Antimony Balls - 100 (2.5 lbs)
1 Quantity (1/2") = 100 balls, cylinders, or satellites
1 Quantity (13/16") = 24 cylinders
WARNING: Alumina-Ceramic is recommended only for single chemical grinding. It is not recommended for grinding explosive compositions such as black powder.
The United States Government and our shipping service both restrict our sales to within the United States. Shipping rates are calculated by the carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.), not by CannonFuse.com or any of its employees.
Fuse and other "hazmat" items MUST travel via USPS Ground Advantage HAZMAT, which typically takes 5-9 business days to deliver. East Coast orders may take up to 10 days. Hawaii and Alaska orders can take 3-8 weeks. We can make no guarantees on delivery.
Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly, as incomplete or incorrect addresses often result in returned packages. If your order is returned to us due to an address error, you may be responsible for the cost of reshipping. If you prefer not to have it reshipped, we will refund your order. If the return is the result of an error on our end, we will cover all reshipping costs.
In the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to send unused product back to us within 90 days. However, we don't pay return shipping and we don't refund the original shipping. We will refund the amount you purchased for the returned product.
If you're grinding black powder or any other combustible materials, Lead-Antimony balls are the media for you! These high-quality, non-sparking balls come in quantities of 100 (just under 2.5 lbs) and are ready for use!
Alumina-Ceramic is a cost-effective alternative to lead without sacrificing efficiency! This material is strong, durable and resists abrasion, heat, and pressure. Available in cylinders or satellites, this media is sure to get the job done.
