Like any other retailer, we at CannonFuse.com receive our fair share of products that have seen better days by the time they arrive at our door. The difference is that no matter how "ugly" our occasional "UGLY Fuse" is, it typically always burns the same, which, we know, is what most of you really care about! If you don't have a problem with cosmetic defects like discoloration, peeling, or sticking, you can snag a pretty good deal on some of our most popular types of fuses!

In addition to cosmetic issues, some of our rolls of UGLY Fuse could be of multiple lengths, be undersized, and/or have kinks or sticking in a few places. Some may be missing a label card. The whole roll isn't bad, just a portion of it. Some of these roles may also not be at full length, which is why it is labeled as UGLY. The bottom line is that none of it is unusable or unsafe; it's just not good enough to be sold for full price.   

PLEASE NOTE: The diameter of fuse may be smaller but it still burns at regular rate.

Every now and then, we receive products from our manufacturer that function perfectly but don't quite meet our visual standards, and the Shoelace Fuse is no exception. It burns at the exact, steady rate you need, but its appearance? Not so pretty. It is very soft and spongy, not much of a lacquer coating, and sometimes burns with little to no flame.There may be parts of the fuse that is also different in color. But besides all these flaws, the burn time REMAINS consistent. We’re offering this functional yet “cosmetically challenged” fuse at a huge discount, so you get all the performance without the premium.

Why so cheap? Simple: the diameter on this batch turned out thinner than expected. We tested and burned it, and it does work, but it didn’t meet our usual standards for thickness or consistency. Some portions of the roll may be 3mm in thickness but they are not consistent, so the rolls cannot be sold at full price. 

That said, we know there are pyro folks out there who can still put it to use. Maybe that’s you! Great for experimental builds, budget setups, or just stocking the workshop on the cheap.
