STARS & COLORED FIRE
All of the formulas listed below can just be mixed and burned in a lose pile to produce the desired color. If they are going to be rolled into stars, follow these guidelines:
For stars containing Potassium Perchlorate, roll using water as a solvent. They are primed with 2 layers. The first layer is a mixture of 50% Black Powder and 50% star mix followed by a final layer of plain Black Powder about 2mm thick. Finished stars should be about 1/2" diameter.
For stars containing Potassium Chlorate, roll using water as a solvent. They are primed with 1 layer of Black Powder about 2mm thick ONLY AFTER THE STAR IS COMPLETELY DRY.
